I have used this routine and training for 15+ years and it works great. When your pup is not in his/her crate and while under supervision, keep a leash on him/her so that you can automatically re-direct and correct. Just a simple tug when he/she attempts to potty, will take his/her mind off long enough for you to get him to the yard Suggestion : Put the puppy on your schedule 1. Feed the last meal around your last meal of the day 2. Pull water around 8 pm 3. Take your pup out just prior to night time crating 4. For the first 3 to 4 nights, put the crate in a location as far away from you as possible, remember a radio will help them to calm down, a Kong filled with Peanut Butter fresh out of the freeze will give them something to help keep them busy…

This little Angel gets to spend another full week with me and her Mommy, they spent the day napping during the thunderstorms. They even slept through quarter size hail pouncing off the metal roof. I should have been so lucky 🙂 Lori, you better get ready she will be there before you know it 🙂
And then there was one, 15 pups picked up in the last 3 days 🙁 I have not had all go so quickly in years and I really miss them already. My little lone baby is now having the time of her life with Mommy all to herself. She will leave on the 11th and then no more babies until Fall. I have plenty to keep me busy until then 🙂
Some Breeders Pride them selves on the length of their waiting list and the fact that they collect fee to be added to that list. Day #1 of Social Distancing Style Pup Pick Ups, went off without a hitch. Everyone did great except for the pups, how can you tell them you don't want their kisses or the sweet smell of Puppy Breath. Four families came from far and wide to pick up their sweet new babies.
